About Wirtz Beverage Minnesota - Wine and Spirits

Wirtz Beverage Minnesota, formerly Griggs Cooper & Co. and Mark VII Distributors, was founded in 1882 as a distributor of grocery products to stores throughout the upper Midwest. When prohibition was repealed in 1933, the company formed a liquor and wine division and has since added beer and selected non-alcoholic products for a combination of 30 domestic and international breweries. A member of the Wirtz Beverage Group since 1956, Wirtz Beverage Minnesota has developed into one of the largest wine and spirits distributors in the Upper Midwest.
